On the evening of November 1st Fixed Fur Life will be having their annual fund-raising “Furball”.
The Furball is tremendously important to the community work that Fixed Fur Life performs as it is one of their major fund-raising events of the year. It runs from 5 PM until Midnight on Saturday evening at The Banquet Center at 1 Alhambra Square in Belleville. I believe that tickets are still available for purchase and they are $75 per plate. As in years past there will be numerous items up for auction at the banquet that have been donated by many generous sponsors. Foster Park Animal Hospital and Hillcrest Animal Hospital are the major sponsors of this event this year and we are both immensely proud to be associated with Fixed Fur Life.
This event is the one where we actually get to see Darlene Quincy in a fancy dress! And believe me folks, that is not a common occurrence! On a more serious note, please consider attending the Furball and bringing lots of money to spend at the silent auction tables. Every penny goes towards helping people and local animals. I could go on for pages and pages about how wonderful this group is and the number of people and animals in Quinte West that they have helped over the years.
